June 29 2018
Ledger Capital Management is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Hong Kong. The launch underpins Ledger’s steadily growing popularity in the region, and is an integral part of Ledger’s efforts to forge ties with stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region. Ledger’s new site will “consolidate the company’s growth across the Asia Pacific region” and deepen “already established relationships in Japan”
We will use our new office to build networks as it looks to nearly double its assets. One of the hallmarks of our investment beliefs is partnership in various locales with people who are comfortable with the same beliefs.
“The opening of our office in Hong Kong is a natural progression for us as we continue our strategy of evolving and growing our business globally,” Chairman Michael John Ledger said in a statement. “As more and more Private Equity, companies and institutions are increasingly looking to diversify their investments outside of the domestic market, Ledger is well placed as a global investment house to provide an array of quality opportunities to deliver superior returns.”
Despite remarkable economic progress achieved in Asian-Pacific countries over the last decades, the region remains home to an enormous number of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. At the same time, the Asia-Pacific impact investing market is growing and increasingly addresses societal and environmental challenges. Due to its central location and outstanding infrastructure, Hong Kong is well positioned to become an impact investing hub in Asia-Pacific.
For over 19 years, our active management approach and relationship based business has generated attractive returns for investors.
